This pizzeria, now close to being open for 40 years, remains among the most appreciated in Matera. The owner personally takes care of buying the raw material used (it’s easy to find him at the local fruit and vegetable market early in the morning) as well as making the dough and preparing the pizzas. The service needs significant improvement, but the final result continues to satisfy the many Materans who still prefer this pizzeria. There is a good and varied choice of pizzas. The raw materials used are of excellent quality. The service is welcoming. Not recommended on the busier days (Saturdays and pre- holidays) unless you have nothing better to do in the evening!
