Da non perdere
The Apud Jatum restaurant-pizzeria is located in San Giuseppe Jato, a little town not far from Palermo. The young pizza chef and owner, Alessandro Traina, has passionately transformed this historic pizzeria so much that it has become, in just a few years, one of the landmarks for lovers of gourmet pizza. The dough is obtained with stone-ground flour and with a 48-hour maturation. The mozzarella they use comes from Nebrodi, and the tomatoes are San Marzano. We recommend trying the pizza called Monte Jato (with melted cheese and prosciutto from Parma) or the Brontadella. The “fritta” (fried) is also excellent. There are a few craft beers available and the smiling waitstaff completes the experience.
