The experience at I Quattro Ricci is an enjoyable one. An agri-tourism business just outside the historic center of Cerveteri. The restaurant is mainly dedicated to banquets, but for three years now it has also offered pizza alla pala. On the menu they are described as scrocchiarelle or “crunches.” In reality what is crunchy is the crust; in fact, we are dealing with a pizza-focaccia that is quite high, crunchy on the outside and soft inside, which reminds one a pit of pan pizza. It is served on a wooden cutting block, and the portion is for two (you can, however, request a half portion or to top it in two different ways). Very well leavened, fragrant, light, and with an almost homemade taste. The ambiance is rustic, but the service is very professional.
