Da non perdere
This historic restaurant-pizzeria is located in the Roman district of Appio/San Giovanni. It is accessible from the Metro C (Lodi) and Metro A (Re di Roma). It has a traditional and welcoming environment in the style of a Tavern. The staff is very helpful. The pizza dough, as explained in the menu, is “not high nor low” and is similar to the typical Roman “pinsa”. The result is a good and easily-digestible pizza. There is a vast range of toppings, and you can also choose your ingredients by ordering the “DIY pizza”. There is an excellent wine list and a special iPad for the vast assortment of craft beers. Fair prices. During the weekend, even if you have made a reservation you may have to wait a bit.
