Da non perdere
Here they serve a light pizza which exalts the flavors of its dough and toppings. This establishment was a pleasant surprise that we found behind the Naples stazione centrale railway station. It makes a decidedly pleasant impression on your eyes and your palate. There is a spacious and welcoming dining area, and a kind, courteous service. Vincenzo Esposito humbly enquires into the patrons’ opinion of his pizzas, a practice which comes from a long experience in the restaurant business.
Carmnella carefully conserves its original format as a Neapolitan trattoria, which was opened by grandmother Carmela. Vincenzo Esposito’s contemporary eye knowledgeably unites the two worlds, bringing his grandmother’s ragù to his pizza Elena Ferrante. There is a union of tradition and modernity, and great care in the selection of the ingredients. Deciding which pizza to try will be very difficult. The menu is rich and intriguing and deserves a second visit.
