Situated in an easily accessible area, the pizzeria Carpe Diem has a low-key interior, which is brightly lit, with practical and efficient furnishings. What comes out of the nice wood-fired oven are classic Neapolitan-style pizzas. They are simply impeccable for their doughs and baking time, and have a more pronounced crust in the “canottieri
” (boat) style. The raw materials which are used, from the flours to the toppings, are worthy of merit. The menu has a vast selection of choices, which span from the classics, which includes variations on the ephemeral margherita
, to the contemporary (the Margherita Sbagliata
), and finally the more elaborate combinations, which incorporate the new trends in health and flavor. There is a suitable choice of wines, beers and desserts. The fried dishes proposed as starters are delicious.
