Da non perdere
This is an alternative pizzeria by Ciccio Vitiello in the small center of Tuoro. Beyond the classic disk of pasta, which he creates with his own blend of flours, Ciccio uses a selection of alternative flours such as hemp, burnt wheat, multi-grains, fennel, curcuma and cocoa. The doughs of the pizzas are carefully made and well leavened. The result is a well-baked and tasty disk with a recognizable crust in the “canotto” or boat style.
The little building which houses the pizzeria on the ground floor offers a nice view of the city of Caserta. There is a garden with a covered patio which allows for outdoor dining both in summer and winter. The dining room staff takes care of the patrons with care and discretion. The beverages on offer are excellent: white wines from the territory, reds from Campania and some sparkling options as well. The selection of craft beers is also superior. There are various fried offerings that are well-executed.
It is a place you can return to with pleasure for a good pizza accompanied by a good glass of wine or beer.
