Gino Sorbillo ai Tribunali
Da non perdere
Premio Kimbo Modello d’Ispirazione 2019
This place is always crowded, both night and day with cheerful disorderly tourists and authentic Neapolitans alike. The pizzeria in Via dei Tribunali welcomes everyone and does not look like it will stop (despite the bombs). They do not take reservations, but everyone is welcomed, if they do not mind waiting, into one of the three lovely indoor dining areas where you can also share a table with strangers. Here the pizza is made with a low crust, thin and melty, and in an exaggerated large side, so much so that it goes over the edges of the plates. Tradition prevails in the toppings, but there are a few creative touches with superior Slow Food Presidia products. We recommend the Gennaro (a pizza by Massimo Bottura) with yellow tomatoes from the Vesuvius, Cilento caccioricotta, and Slow Food Presidia provola from Matese.
