Located at the gates to Florence, the Lo Spea pizzeria is a must for lovers of gourmet pizza. They are available in numerous variations, all of which are of excellent quality. The establishment is extremely spacious, yet always crowded at weekends. There are also frequent in themed, pizza tasting events. The pizza has an extremely light dough thanks to the excellence of the flours used and to at least 30 hours of leavening. Traditional pizzas such as the margherita, the marinara and the Napoli are available. However, this place is celebrated for its gourmet proposals: from the “chianti edition” pizzas to the “contemporary” pizzas. There are also limited edition pizzas, which are realized thanks to a collaboration between the pizza chef and the chef, and professionals in the Italian food and wine sector. Upmost care is taken in regards to quality, to the connection which the ingredients have to the territory (Imprunetina, Panzanese, Chiantigiana), and to the captivating and well thought-out pairings.
