Domenico Ventre’s margheritas have all the characteristics of a Neapolitan style pizza, from the dough to the ingredients which are strictly high quality including San Marzano DOP tomatoes and mozzarella fiordilatte from Agerola. To summarize, Pizzarè does not have the Campania region as its only protagonist. The format of the small and cozy establishment, a stone’s throw from the main square of Rizziconi, valorizes the Calabria region as well. The pizzas evoke the recipes of tradition, highlighting the typical products from the region, like the Spilinga with tomatoes, fiordilatte and 'nduja. The pizza chef’s proposals always vary according to the season, even if some classic pizzas, considered to be their strong point, are always kept on the menu. An entire wall is used as a large blackboard to inform the customer about the specialties of the period. In the dining room, you’ll find Domenico’s brother Francesco to help you with your selection.
