Da non perdere
For 15 years now the owner and pizza maker Massimo Giovannini together with his wife Barbara have been offering pizzas in Versilia. His pizzas are the precursor of many “gourmet” establishments that have emerged in recent years. This year the proposal has been widened with #oltrelapizza: dishes based on leavened products and flours combined with local products such as the fillings of tordelli (typical of the area) or ethnic versions (hummus in piadina, or curry sandwiches). The possibility to select from the tasting menu remains a guaranteed standby. It allows you to try different slices from the numerous pizzas on the menu. There is a vast selection of wine and beer in addition to an impeccable service. This time we particularly enjoyed the porchetta focaccia. We also appreciated the care put into the desserts proposed (don’t miss out on the “sempreincarta” which are hot donuts). In the pleasant outdoor space it is possible to drink an aperitif while waiting for a table in the large upper room or in the adjacent garden.
