Da non perdere
Located on the edge of a state road not far from Ortona, the lovely and modern pizzeria Giangi offers truly interesting proposals to try. The atmosphere is informal yet well-kept, as is the staff who are prepared and efficient both behind or in front of the large counter. Behind this you can observe the ovens and your pizzas being topped. Along with the traditional proposals, Giangi also has a pizza tasting menu with toppings that are notable both for the quality of the ingredients and for the studied and perfected pairings which denote great skill and superior taste of the talented Gianluigi Di Vincenzo. He boasts a high ranking formative experience. Quite a few Slow Food Presidia products have been used. Quality is also found in the flours, the tomatoes and the rest of the raw materials. The dough and the baking of the pizzas correspond to the model of a tasting menu for pizzas, with baking done in an electric oven at specific temperatures for each type of pizza. The choices made for the wine and beer lists are correct and well calibrated.
