Antico Forno Roscioli
You can’t say you have tasted the classic Roman-style pizza until you have gone to the Antico Forno Roscioli. A familiar tradition that has been churning out quality for decades. A very good selection of ingredients. The red pizza, very thin and “scrocchiarella” (crunchy), as people say in Rome, is topped with raw peeled tomatoes, a pinch of oregano and a little bit of extra-virgin olive oil, and is one of the culinary ‘monuments’ of the city. The pizza topped with the inevitable mortadella is worth trying. Suitable for a quick break.
