La Pizzeria Sud
At the center of the place that transformed food service in Florence, in the center of the great and constant success of the Central Market (Mercato Centrale), the previous management by Romualdo Rizzuti had brought this pizzeria to the center of the desires of every Florentine. The new management succeeded in the task of not making the past a regret, but indeed to build on it. Stefano Callegari, with his soft and strong wheat flour, which is stone-ground in part to keep the properties of the wheat germ and special blend of yeast, proposes up to 6 different pizzas every day to speed up service, but all of them deserve to be tasted. The service is fast but definitely does not have the charm of gourmet pizzerias but the atmosphere is both brilliant and contagious. The mythical ‘Trapizzino’ is coming soon too.
