Pizzeria Da Attilio
The restaurant which opened in 1938, sees Attilio’s grandson and namesake, who founded it at the end of the 1930s, at the counter. The heritage passed on to him after a period of management by his mother Maria Francesca, who was a young widow. It is located at Pignasecca, a popular market street. It’s not just a pizzeria but it also offers a trattoria service with a full menu of Neapolitan dishes and desserts. The environment is very cosy, the attentive and quick service in relaxed-Neapolitan style; On the walls the flow of decades is shown by drawings and photos hanging on the walls. It is well-liked and frequented by loving families and customers, by tourists who find it in guidebooks and, for lunch breaks, by those who work nearby.
