A great Neapolitan pizzeria in Versilia! And by great we intend not only for the quality of the pizza but also for the rest. Gennario Battiloro, a young 35 year old from Torre del Greco but now Versiliese by adoption, in his new establishments inland from Forte dei Marmi, we have a nice summer garden, an ample dining area, an aperitivi counter, and a wine/beer list that is restaurant worthy. And above all, cooked in the two wood-fired ovens, we have his majesty the Pizza, available in the more classic versions (Margherita and Marianara never disappoint) and with more trendy toppings with quality products such as San Giovanni ham, the ‘nduja from Spilinga o the anchovies from Cantabrico. Soft dough, thanks to a perfect leavening and hydration, easy to eat in the “Neapolitan” way, which is by folding it in half, without using a fork or knife. For whomever is so inclined, during the wait for the main dish, the Neapolitan fried classics are not missing: arancini, crocchè and pasta frittatina.
