Between Viareggio and Lucca, near the banks of Lake Massaciuccoli, there is this modern pizzeria with outdoor tables. The menu proposes pizzas in the Neapolitan style, topped with traditional ingredients but not exclusively so. Pronounced crust, good baking, abundant toppings. As an alternative to the classic, there is also the possibility of a black cereal dough. Among the proposals are also calzones and vegan pizza. You must try the Tarantella with San Marzano tomato, provolone del Monaco PDO and salted taralli with almonds from Mergellina. For whomever does not want pizza: hamburgers, fried offerings and a small kitchen menu. The wine list is enriched with a few labels of craft beers. Despite our visit less than a year ago, La Kambusa has confirmed itself as a valid choice for dinning in Versilia.
