Romualdo Rizzuti is a young pizza chef but he is an old acquaintance of Florence, having worked in various pizzerias (including SUD in the renewed first floor of the Central Market of San Lorenzo).
Since April 2017 he has found his home in an elegant structure in the Gavinana quarter which, in the high season expands outwards with numerous open air tables: two wood ovens and an important kitchen led these last few months by Daniele Pescatore , Romualdo’s working colleague and great friend, who he allows to be inspired as far as the pizza toppings go.
Between oven pizzas, panuozzos, fried pizzas and a selection of traditional Neapolitan dishes, you are spoilt for choice. It is advisable to book, well in advance.
