Gabriele Bonci opened his first Pizzarium outside of Rome in Lucca and he did it together with the well-known restaurateur Massimo Minutelli. Just a few minutes drive from the city center, the place is modern and bright, with large windows that separate the room from the veranda, where there is also an area for children. With an electric oven, full open kitchen and at the counter, a wide selection of pan pizzas that vary continuously, from more classic flavors to “gourmet” variations made with local ingredients. Do not miss the white potato and fior di latte pizza and the one with porchetta. The fried foods and desserts made in-house complete the offering. The tasting menu is fun and recommended.
