Since 1938, this pizzeria has been a certainty at the Pignasecca, a street which during the day is a market which sells fruit and vegetable, fish, cooked food shops and street food. At the work bench, silent but sure of his dough choices, his selection of the ingredients and the management is Attilio Bachetti, named after his grandfather who opened the business, he manages the pizzeria with attention to tradition.
The pizza is tasty, melting and slippery; the dough light and well leavened, thinly spread and well cooked; the combination of the toppings is very pleasant in which an excellent tomato stands out.
The menu is well assorted, it offers traditional pizzas “timeless” and more modern pizzas; the environment is comfortable, and the service is polite.
On the menu there are also hot dishes and traditional Neapolitan desserts.
The passing of time is told by the drawings and the photos hanging on the walls. It is visited by families and loyal customers, by tourists who find it in the guidebooks, and during lunch hour by those who work in the neighbourhood.
