Opened for over 50 years in Governo Vecchio Street, a few steps from Navona Square, the pizzeria Da Baffetto is a very spartan and unique establishment. On the menu is the typical Roman pizza cooked in a wood-oven: very thin and crispy. The staff is generally very helpful and table service is fast, with the possibility of outdoor seating in the summer. The dough is made with 00 flour and leavened for 24 hours. The pizza selection is quite vast: the Margherita is very popular, as well as the zucchini flower pizza and the “Baffetto” pizza with tomato, mozzarella, mushrooms, sausage, peppers, artichokes and a sunny-side egg in the middle.
