The Perché looks over the busy Treviso-Sea elegantly, and is first and foremost a modern architectonic work, with an audacious, award-winning design from the Triennale of Milan. The pizzeria is in a contemporary style alongside a well-established restaurant in the bright dining areas embellished with live-art with dreamy tones by Valentina D’Andra, an artist from Lecce. The pizzas for tasting are made with stone ground flours, long leavenings and quality toppings. A product that is a just synthesis between softness and crunchiness. There are the classics, such as the classic Margherita with mozzarella from Campania or the Bufala with organic tomatoes and buffalo milk stracciatella, and then gourmet pizzas such as the Vegetariana or the Affumicata with speck from Sauris. A must is the one with fire-roasted ham, an excellent ham made by the house. Ample beer list (many craft beers) and, even the wine list is good. The Perché was one of the first establishments to bet on the pizza – wine pairing. Bill around 15 euros.
