He was also among the pioneers of the pizza-wine pairings. His establishment in Arcella – also “hub” for the Torino football supporters – is today a hothouse of other ideas, such as pizza by the slice proposed in various ways. The basis for everything is a light dough which is has been repeatedly tried and tested. His creative fantasy is the stylistic element of this pizza chef on a continuous quest for improvement, who knows how to dare without going too far, who knows the secrets of the techniques for pairing flavours. Pizzas to be tasted are the Francesca, Granata and Sua Maesta. Good beer and wine list. Rustic atmosphere, cordial service. Calaon can already boast of his skilled apprentices.
