One of the most famous addresses in Rome, at Don Bosco: Sforno, Stefano Callegari’s historical pizzeria is an institution and has always been a reference point even for the populous quarter. The environment is simple and quiet, with the possibility to eat outside during the summer. The service is quick and polite, with staff who are well prepared on the specialities of the house, which change every day: the supplis are tasty, such as the garlic one, that with oil and hot chilli peppers and those off the menu, such as the suppli with porchetta, Frascati wine and wild fennel. High crust, light dough and very digestible, prepared with 80% common wheat flour and 20% stone ground semi-wholemeal flour and a long leavening. On the pizzas top quality ingredients: don’t miss the cacio and pepper (maybe to share with other diners) with pecorino romano PDO. To appreciate also the beer menu, with around 40 offers and the attentive selection on the wine menu.
