Spiazzo, with its Italian-style pizza, positions itself as one of the more convincing establishments of its kind in Rome. In the Ostiense area, a few steps from the Porto Fluviale night life, but in a quiet location, a modern and comfortable establishment, ample parking and outside seating for the warmer season. Young and confident service, at times a bit too rushed. The fried food is very tasty, both the classics as well as the ‘lingotti’, a kind of rice ball with a golden breading with various fillings.
The pizza has a crunchy base, with a soft and moist top, light and well-risen. There is so much imagination in the toppings, especially in the ‘spiazzanti’ or the special pizzas, that change seasonally and are the most original and the heart of the menu.
