Lorenzo and Lorenza Fasolato were already focused on quality many years ago, settling on a new pizza product at the right time. The Azzurra di Monteortone di Abano Tavern is a place that has anticipated the pizza evolution, quickly hitting the mark given the surprising results obtained. This restaurant-pizzeria, also famous for its meat, deserves credit for having continued committedly down the path it had undertaken without ever giving into the temptation to imitate others. Traditional and “gourmet” pizzas are genuinely good, recognizable at a glance and at first bite. No particular secrets, just the right kind of doughs made with select ingredients. The wine and beer list is quite good.
