Pizzerie Eccellenti 2020
A Rota Pizzeria Romanesca
This is a new pizzeria in the Tor Pignattara area. The environment is well-kept with wooden tables and tiles that give off a modern vibe. The staff is quick and friendly. The pizza follows the canons of the Roman tradition: low, crunchy and crispy, spread with a rolling pin, topped all the way to the edge of the pizza. The dough is tasty and digestible. On the menu, you can find the traditional classics (margherita, capricciosa, napoli) plus the proposals of the day linked to seasonal availability. The fried dishes are noteworthy and follow the standard of the Capitoline pizzerias. We recommend you taste the supplì alla carbonara, amatricana and cacio e pepe, very popular now in Roman pizzerias but that are not always in line with the original flavors. For dessert, you can also try pizzas topped in their sweet version. To avoid getting stuck in traffic, make use of the venue’s free parking in Via Tor Pignattara 114. A Rota di “A rota”! (A Rota is foolproof)!
