Al Fresco is one of the most amazing places where you might happen to eat an excellent pizza. We are in the gardens of the Gherardesca in Florence where Romualdo Rizzuti, in collaboration with the Four Seasons, serves his pizza as an admirable statement in an international context without betraying tradition. In fact, in collaboration with the chef Vito Mollica, he proposes an original topping which would merit a special mention: the Lucana pizza with DOP tomatoes, fior di latte, pecorino cheese from Filano, ciambotta, borzillo and powdered bran is an authentic masterpiece. The service is worthy of a 5-star hotel, with an encyclopaedic wine list and knowledgably matched cocktails. The price-quality ratio is honest but the prices are not for everyone.
