Giovanni Vegro is the worthy heir of a long family tradition. He was not content just to carry the torch, he wanted to innovate. He wanted his project to have more substance, so he did some research. First, in cuisine (he is also the chef in the Antica Trattoria Al Portico, adjacent to the pizzeria) and now in the art of making pizzas. He has worked for a long time with experts such as Christian Zaghini for the pizza and Sergio Mei for the cuisine. The result is a pizza with personality, easily recognizable and available in several types, from classic, to stuffed, to the piuma. Evolution, passion, a flair for choosing the correct raw ingredients, Giovanni, with his modesty and his desire to learn, knows how to present genuine products of excellent quality. The pizzeria is dedicated to his grandmother Elide, because for the Vegros, family is important. It is a nice place, which incorporates the style of the past with the present day. There is light, space and colorful harmony. Giovanni’s sister, Francesca, is the talented manager of the dining area along with her father Tiziano.
