We are in Via Appia Nuova, not far from the Capannella horse-racing track, in the kingdom of Angelo Pezzella. Beyond the great variety of oven-baked and fried pizzas, you can also try some traditional dishes from Campania, including “o’ panuozz”. The dining area has lovely table settings, and the décor is in shades of white. The outdoor dining area has tables that are set more simply. We appreciated the sealed bottle of water in place of purified water. The fried anchovies were very enjoyable. We choose the “Nonna Lina” from the list of specials. The masterfully-fried eggplant combines well with the provola, the wafer of grana and roasted ham placed after baking. We also enjoyed the one with yellow cherry tomatoes; the anchovies and the olive powder give an extra kick to the overall flavor. The pizza is well-baked with a bubbly and soft high crust, and they do not skimp on the first-quality toppings.
