This is a family-run place immersed in the Monrealese countryside. It is about fifteen kilometers from the center of Palermo, not far from the Abbazia di San Martino delle Scale abbey. It opened for business in 1980 as a bread shop and then was transformed over the years into a solid landmark for pizza lovers and lovers of a cuisine based on typical Isolani products. The pizzas are realized using organic, semi-whole-wheat type 1 flours. They are stone-ground with a reground semolina from Sicilian hard grains. You can choose from among the classics, the white pizzas, the memorabili (memorables), and there is also a list of staff-recommended pizzas on the menu. Particular care has been taken in the selection of the cured meats and cheeses used as toppings, as well as the produce grown in the house garden. A plus is the meter-pizza which can be ordered with two flavors. There is a beer list and a wine list, and the owner Giamichele is very happy to guide the patron in their choice for the best beverage pairing. The service is rapid and attentive.
