Italiano Sotto il castello di San Terenzo oggi c’è una piazza tutta nuova: mancano i vecchi pini, ma il mare e le case colorate sono sempre al loro posto. Così come la pizzeria Fuoco e Fiamme, le sue verande in legno che sembrano riprese da certi vecchi piroscafi e i tavoli all’aperto, dove è piacevole sostare nelle sere d’estate. L’ampia proposta si è ultimamente arricchita di nuovi impasti, con risultati gradevoli e pizze fragranti, leggere e digeribili: interessante l’integrale con curcuma, per una pizza un po’ più alta ma dal gusto inconsueto, mentre la margherita classica si fa apprezzare per il topping ben disegnato e la scioglievolezza. Servizio premuroso e giovane, per una sosta rilassante.
Below the castle of San Terenzo there is a totally new piazza: the old pine trees are gone, but the sea and the colorful houses are still in their usual place. The same goes for the pizzeria Fuoco e Fiamme, with its wooden verandas that seem to be made from old steamboats and its outdoor tables, where it is nice to spend a summer evening. The wide offer on the menu has recently been enriched by new doughs with pleasing results, and fragrant, light and digestible pizzas. The wholegrain dough with curcuma is interesting; a pizza that is a bit thick but with an unconventional taste. Meanwhile, the classic margherita can be appreciated for its well-balanced toppings and meltiness. The service is young and attentive, and makes for a relaxing stop.
