Fuzion food can be found in a small side street in the vicinity of Torino Porta Nuova. It is one of two pizzerias owned by Domenico Volgare. Since 2014 curious customers have flocked here to taste an Italian version of sushi or an oriental style pizza. The dough, which is prepared with flours from Piedmont and sourdough, is leavened for 100 hours. Idem in the other pizzeria, Zio Dome, with the difference that here the whole context is designed to give the customers an experience. There are approximately 30 seats, between those outside on the street and the indoor dining area, where you can order the very light pizzas – round or in the more individual rectangular shape. They are the results of creative ideas or of personal reinterpretations of traditional recipes such as the Amatriciana and the Pad Thai. A regular service accompanies the experience. They are happy to give information on the artisan beers, the extensive wine list, and at the end of the meal the unusual spirits. The latest creation? A liqueur produced with the same spices as the Phở soup.
