Located in “corso Resina”, in the city of Ercolano (near Naples), you’ll find this pizzeria which is the latest creation of pizza chef Giuseppe Pignalosa. It’s a classic Neapolitan pizzeria that only offers take away service. The restaurant is well-lit and it is possible to eat standing up. The pizza is the traditional kind, both for the dough and for the toppings. The “capricciosa” is a good pizza, topped with olives from Caiazzo; The “diavola” is also good. The ingredients used are of good quality. Our “diavola” survived a two-hour trip remaining pleasantly tasty. All the other pizzas offered follow both Campania traditions as well as Italian traditions. The pizza “piennolo” (with Vesuvius tomato) is certainly not missing from the menu. High quality local fried dishes are also available, which are crispy, dry (not greasy), succulent, and have just the right flavor.
