Open until late evening in the heart of the city of Stretto just a few steps from the University, the Pub Messina is the place to enjoy traditional dishes or the Neapolitan pizza by Saro Caminiti. The dough is made in the direct method with a biga and sourdough, and a leavening of a minimum of 48 hours. Beyond the dough made with type 1 stone-ground flour, the pizzeria proposes two special doughs: multigrain and ancient grain. There are more than 50 pizzas on the menu from which to choose. The most requested pizza is the Napoletana Verace. The pizzas are enriched by the best seasonal products sourced locally. The Pub is also an extremely well-stocked birreria with a range of approximately 40 craft beers, both Italian and foreign. Among the specialities we recommend the Figliata, a pan pizza with Campania bovine fligliata di latte, mortadella, and pistachio pesto. The cheesecake and house tiramisù are both excellent. In summer the establishment doubles in size, and you can also enjoy your pizza at the Venetico Marina Summer Pub.
