Da non perdere
A very informal pizzeria in a popular area on the outskirts of Bologna. The place isn’t too big and still has furnishings that go back a few decades: it’s your classic, welcoming “neighborhood” pizzeria. The pizzas at “La Carriola,” are baked in a wood-fired oven, and tend to be in the norm, both in terms of ingredients and for the fact that the production of the pizza does not excel for any particular quality. It can certainly be defined as a solid intermediate-level product. Wholegrain and Kamut versions are available, however there is no gluten free option. Fast, attentive and kind service, even during the Saturday evening rush. If you are in the area it would be an acceptable choice.
