This is a small gem suspended between where the Emilia region is about to become Lombardy. It is almost in Cremona but still in the Piacentino area. The locale is composed of two internal dining areas, one of which is used for aperitivi, and an outdoor space. The menu has a pizza tasting option, round pizzas, and a few proposals from the kitchen that have a gourmet feel. The service is impeccable. As for the pizzas, those in the tasting menu with natural yeast and stone-ground flours are certainly a step above the round version. The latter in any case has a minimum leavening time of 40 hours, but the average price also changes (up to a maximum of 32 euros for the pizza with raw shrimp from Sicily). The impression is one of quality that tends to improve over time and of a good level of research into the ingredients. Incredible but true, even the quality of the more affordable wine on tap is well up to standard. They also offer a takeaway and delivery service that must be reserved in advance.
