A young, straightforward style, which is at times street and at times post-industrial, that makes a perfect contrast to a marvelously reassuring pizza. Almost maternal. This is how Marì, a pizzeria with two outlets in Milan, in Porta Venezia and in Seregno (MB), is making its way quickly through the Lombardy grapevine. It is a place to keep an eye on over the next few years. In addition, the teachings of the “scuola Marghe,” can all be seen and felt here. But you also sense a clear and strong, somewhat spasmodic attention to the ingredients, to the combinations of the flavors, and especially to the quality of the doughs. There are not many pizzas present on the menu, and that is just fine. You must absolutely try the pizza named after the locale itself: the Marì, with buffalo-milk mozzarella, yellow tomatoes, parmesan shavings and ‘nduja. We also recommend the Ricotta 2.0, obviously with ricotta, Felino salami and taralli crumbs. The establishment also proposes completely vegan creations that are updated monthly.
