Riccardo Fiorentini’s fame has surpassed the borders of Romagna and arrived in both Bologna and Milan, where O’Fiore Mio is present with its pizza “alla romana” (roman type). But behind it all is his Faenza laboratory, which specializes in traditional round pizzas with three different doughs (the one with Antonio Cera burnt wheat is excellent), and two available offers: a tasting menu and the classic Neapolitan pizza. There are also a few dishes from the kitchen and some foccacias with cured meats and cheeses. ‘O Fiore Mio confirms itself to be a landmark for the Emilia Romagna pizzeria scene: perfect leavening, DOP and IGP ingredients, and a guaranteed fragrance and lightness. The touch of class? The extra-virgin olive oil, which changes according to what you have ordered, served at the table on your piping-hot pizza. The staff’s smiles manage to get around their face masks….The wine list has room for improvement. Outdoor seating is available, as are take-away and delivery services.
