This osteria is just a few steps away from the city center. The restaurant, designed in great detail, takes us to a real workshop rebuilt with accuracy. In addition to the tables there are, parked inside, cars that have made the history of the automobile industry: A ferrari 348 TB, a classic Ford from the twenties, a Giulietta, the legendary Fiat 500s, and so on. It is also fun to discover how car and engine parts make up the furniture. As for the pizzas, the offer is strictly gourmet with three main types and a dozen solutions. Pizza choices include: thin-dish pizzas, 72 hours of leavening time, or those “in pala” (meter-long pizza), still using a 72-hour leavening for the dough. Smaller but definitely thicker is the soft base pizza which uses wholemeal flour. Among the ingredients for the toppings, many of which are organic, you will find burrata, vegetables from the garden, eggplant caponata, the spianata calabra (a very tasty, spicy, flat salami from Calabria) for those looking for spicy flavors. The beers, which are local, are also very good.
