Roman cuisine has become a trend almost everywhere, and Bologna is no exception. A noteworthy establishment in the capital of Emilia-Romagna is Pistamentuccia in Via Testoni. Anothr is an establishment that sells pizza-by-the-slice in Riva Reno. The environment is rather small, but during all hours of the day, you will find a wide selection of different toppings (not to be taken for granted, for a pizzeria of this caliber). Bread can also be purchased. Something we noticed that was lacking at the time of our visit was an outdoor space under the porticoes that certainly would have made the experience more relaxing. The pizza is rich; the dough is soft and externally fragrant. Good quality ingredients are used that stand out for different reasons. The cherry tomatoes and anchovies form lovely aesthetics, covering the surface of the pizza thoroughly. The combination of scamorza and zucchini create a delicate flavour. The scamorza and spicy salami is for those who love strong flavours, while the combination of eggplant and tomatoes can be commended for its balance of flavor. The service is quick and the prices are low.
