This establishment is located a few steps away from the Reggia di Caserta, Vanvitelli’s magnificent structure that was once sought after by the Bourbons. But Ciro D’Avanzo’s pizza, made with love and passion, is not typical of a pizza-to-go place. Everything started with a deep knowledge of Campania and Caserta’s typical produce in order to attract the many tourists and, above all, to build customer loyalty among the many pizza lovers in Terra di Lavoro and neighboring Sannio. The crust, even though in is not overly pronounced, demonstrates the result of the careful leavening process. There is an ample list on offer, from the inevitable classics, to the Casertane (which reinterpret some musts from Campania’s cuisine), to the gourmet pizzas (which feature many vegetables) and finishing with the history of Pizz’Art (where meat and fresh sausage also appear). In addition to the pizza there are various traditional dishes. An abundant list of craft beers as well as major Italian and international brands. Even during these anti-COVID times, you can breathe in the relaxing atmosphere among the cosy tables.
