Pizzeria Blu Notte
This is a gourmet restaurant in the heart of the Reggiana countryside where you will find a proposal of creative pizzas that recount the history of the territory. Opened in 1992 by Ugo Gherri, Blu Notte has evolved over the years thanks to the influence of Ugo’s son and daughter, Enrico and Mirella. They have added higher and softer doughs and a careful attention to the ingredients used. The contemporary furniture in wood and stone, as well as the veranda that contains well-spaced tables, makes the setting pleasant. The rest is done by the kindness of the staff and the good quality of the offered products. You can choose from 5 different dough mixtures, Classic, Neapolitan, mother yeast with 36 hours leavening, spelt whole wheat, organic kamut whole wheat, and lastly multi-grain, flax seeds and sesame. From the selection of speciality pizzas, Enrico has dedicated some pizzas to cycling champions. We recommend you don’t miss the Chiappucci with San Marzano tomatoes, stracciatella and rucola, an Italian style pizza that is high, soft and slightly crunchy. Also, we recommend you try the Blu Notte with fresh mushrooms, Parmesan and balsamic vinegar.
