Research and innovation are the keywords that best describe Sergio Russo’s Verace Elettrica pizzeria. Great attention and care are put into the creation of the dough for a Neapolitan style pizza cooked in a strictly “electric” oven and topped with quality ingredients. The flavours are in harmony with one another and well balanced. The dough is light and digestible. The pizzeria opened in 2019 in Milazzo, within the Parco Corolla shopping center. It churns out pizzas for lunch and dinner non-stop. Among the gourmet pizzas, one that really stands out is la Messinese 2.0 Maiorchino, with piacentino ennese, salami from Nebrodi, pistachios from Bronte, capers from Salina, Sicilian black bee honey, excellent San Marzano tomatoes, and buffalo mozzarella from Campania. These are just some of the excellent products used. From July 2020, gluten-free pizza is available every day as well as the possibility to choose from 5 different types of dough at no additional cost, like classic, whole wheat, multigrain, or with Artemide rise. The atmosphere is youthful and the service is very fast.
