Pizzerie Eccellenti 2020
Premiata Fabbrica Pizza
As soon as you enter, it becomes clear that this place is worth a visit. From this pizzeria you can enjoy a magnificent view of the famous Ponte Vecchio, of the “Alpini” (the Italian Army’s mountain infantry, symbol of this city), as well as of the Brenta river. The interior of the restaurant is welcoming, well-kept, and full of history. The initiative was created only a few years ago, but this place immediately became well-known. Perhaps it is thanks to the flour, which being stone-ground contains all of the wheat germ, or perhaps thanks to the use of excellent products as toppings. The resulting pizza culture also transpired thanks to collaborations with the Slow Food Presidia, the Slow Food Chefs’ Alliance, and with the group “Figli di pastamadre.” The customer can even choose the kneading method of their dough, which is made in a Neapolitan or yeast-free version, and topped with select ingredients. You can enjoy DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) buffalo-milk mozzarella from Campania, Apulian burrata, Parma ham or local products, and take a trip up and down the peninsula. The staff is definitely up to the task. This establishment delivers a very pleasant experience.
