A stone’s throw from Ponte Milvio, in the suggestive Tor di Quinto park, you’ll find the largest pizzeria in Rome. The furnishings are very nice, with several rooms in addition to the garden and a terrace. The service is fast and attentive. For the Coronavirus emergency, digitalized menus and thermal scanners have been positioned at the entrance, with the staff constantly monitoring the dining hall. In front of the wood-burning oven, you’ll find Ivano Veccia, a talented Ischia-born pizza maker. His pizza has a high crust that melts in your mouth. The menu is seasonal, with well-chosen combinations of pizzas and cocktails. Many of the toppings are reminiscent of Ischia like the “Lasagna Povera”. You will also find some tributes to the Eternal City on the menu. Worth tasting is la Vacanza Romana and the Qvinto. Also excellent is la Pregiata, with truffle buttercream, crispy bacon, smoked provola, pasteurised egg and precious black truffle. There is a rich wine list, which includes over 200 labels and 20 different kinds of Champagne.
