You will find Sandro Cubeddu’s pizzeria just outside the center of Sassari. He is an island local and a talented dough maker. A large open kitchen is at the center of the establishment which also becomes a bistro during lunchtime. In the evening, instead, only pizzas and well-made desserts are served. The two dining areas, one on the ground floor and the other on the first floor are small but comfortable, decorated with dark and warm tones. You will find a wide range of proposals on the beverage menu. There is also an interesting selection of cocktails that you can choose from either just as an aperitif or to drink with your meal. The menu is divided into four sections: the classics, the traditional doughs, the innovative tasting sequences and the “pan crock”. The pizzas are served pre-cut into 8 slices. We recommend the Carlofortina and the Pan crock topped with a truly remarkable Sardinian artisan cooked ham. The service staff is young but well-prepared.
