The pizzeria occupies the ground floor of an old house near the historic center of Domodossola. The large vaulted hall was once an stable. It is easily reachable from the train and bus station. It is also easy to find parking. The establishment is spacious with many seats, although today the number of seats is reduced due to the COVID emergency. The venue is very popular with its patrons so it is best to make a reservation on the busier days. You will find a vast offer of pizzas, also a good selection of cooked dishes, with attention put into locally- sourced gastronomic products (like mountain cheeses, salami, chestnut flour, wine and local beers). There is a strong Mediterranean influence, with some traces of Piemonte dishes and typical Italian cuisine. Often these influences are mixed together with great freedom. The pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven. The primary clientele are the Swiss who arrive by train and take advantage of the favourable currency exchange. This explains both the extensive wine list available and the early opening hourse which are not in line with Italian customary standards. The service is punctual and courteous.
