Andrea Mezzanoglio is at the helm of this pizzeria. He has been guiding it forward steadily thanks to his experience as director and hotel manager in the popular touristy lake district of Piemonte. For years now he has set his roots in Verbania “par tacà butun” which in the laghée dialect means “wanting to start a cordial conversation” or in other words to become friends. When he uses the tools of his pizzas everything becomes simpler. The pizzas are tasty and well made with the correct ingredients. The atmosphere of the Lake Maggiore just opposite the venue does all the rest. The establishment is located in the quieter part of the Pallanza lakefront. The pizzas here are a colourful work of art that gives off both flavour and design with a beautiful synthesis of the research done on the raw materials used. The crust is pronounced and baked at very high temperatures. There are interesting variations (do not miss the house specials, with prawn tails, zucchini and porcini mushrooms). Among the gourmet pizzas, there is also the white pizza with cod, sun-dried tomatoes, broccoli rape and taggiasche olives. The wine cellar contains prestigious labels.
