With a contemporary design, a stone’s throw from the suggestive Torre della Porta Vecchia, these pizzas are definitely out of the ordinary. La Tana del Luppolo (the Hops Den) introduces itself as a novelty pizzeria without embarrassment or false modesty. It’s a nice establishment in a nice place (on the inside, thanks to the inspiration of the designers, and on the outside, thanks to the characteristic stalls), making the experience very original. The pizza is the protagonist of a place that also offers signature burgers and good cuisine. The dough is crunchy, light and highly digestible; the result of research and inspiration. The toppings “shine” for their originality as in the pizza “Pennar”, with cheeses and speck from the Asiago plateau, or in the pizza “Cacio e Pepe”. Such originality shows even more in the “Corniciata” which uses ricotta in an unusual way. The beer menu is full of interesting beers. The staff is prompt and attentive. Their recommendations were also helpful. This establishment has a young spirit and a pleasant contemporary style. Definitely good value for money.
